BLM Seeking Expansion of Wild & Scenic River designations in Oregon

According to a recent release, BLM is "currently planning for the future of Western Oregon's rivers on BLM administered lands. We want you to let us know how we can best protect and maintain your local public rivers."

BLM's latest plan is to place a large number of gold bearing waterways in Oregon into wild and scenic, scenic and recreational.

Included in the list are:

Sixes River (Coos Bay)- Confluence of the North Fork Sixes River downstream to the Pacific Ocean. 
South Fork Coos River (Coos Bay) - Confluence of the Williams River downstream to the Pacific Ocean. 
South Fork Coquille (Coos Bay) - Rogue-Siskiyou National Forest Boundary downstream to the confluence of the North Fork Coquille River. 
Umpqua River (Roseburg District) (Coos Bay) - Confluence of the North Fork Umpqua River and South Fork Umpqua River downstream to the Pacific Ocean.
Fall Creek (Salem District) (Salem) - Headwaters of Fall Creek downstream to the confluence with the Alsea River.
Applegate River (Medford) - Oregon/California state line downstream to the confluence with the Rogue River. 
Cheney Creek (Medford) -Headwaters of Cheney Creek downstream to the confluence with the Applegate River. 
Cow Creek (Medford) - Galesville Reservoir Dam downstream to the confluence with the South Fork Umpqua River. 
Left Fork Foots Creek (Medford) - Headwaters of Left Fork Foots Creek downstream to the confluence with Foots Creek. 
Little Applegate River (Medford) - Headwaters of the Little Applegate River downstream to the confluence with the Applegate River. 
Quines Creek (Medford) - Headwaters of Quines Creek downstream to the confluence with Cow Creek. 
Riffle Creek (Medford) - Headwaters of Riffle Creek downstream to the confluence with Cow Creek. 
Rogue River (Medford)- Lost Creek Dam downstream to the confluence of the Applegate River. 
Sams Creek (Medford) - Headwaters of Sams Creek downstream to the confluence with the Rogue River. 
West Fork Illinois River (Medford) - Oregon/California state line downstream to 0.4 miles above the confluence with the East Fork Illinois River. 
South Umpqua (Roseburg) - Town of Tiller downstream to the confluence of the North Fork Umpqua River. 
Umpqua River (Roseburg District) (Roseburg) - Confluence of the North Fork Umpqua River and South Fork Umpqua River downstream to the Pacific Ocean.
